It’s Just that I’m Oldschool Like That

Unless your deaf (In which case I apologize for being an insensitive prick),

or have been living under a rock (Sorry guy from that commercial who lives under a rock)

You probably know DangerMouse. He's the mastermind behind the song "Crazy"… (You know the one…it didn't fit a mold, so it got played on Rap stations because Cee-lo was in the group, Top 40 stations because it had a catchy hook, and Christian Stations because the Cd was a large part gospel….. Does that make me CRAAAZY. )

Ok, you following me? So… Dangermouse didn't just have success dropped in his lap, but it WAS there for the taking. He released his first album "A Getto Pop life" across the pond to a warm reception. It was a collaboration with underground rapper Jemini.

Next, He followed with an instant classic, The Grey Album. A precise hashing of The Beetles "White Album" and Jay-Z's Black Album, a work of art in it's own right.

Not one to sit on success, he worked with MF DooM on an Adult Swim themed "the mouse and the mask" which had songs about eating cereal, watching cartoons, and keeping it "old school like that."

Finally….came the fame. His latest album, St. Elsewhere, is a collaboration with Cee-lo green and has been played to death on every radio station everywhere.

But 'chall know ya can't cut ya roots. He's comming back to produce a softmore album with the rapper he losts his producing virginity to, Jemini.

Their new album Titled "Kill your Heros, hits stores March 19th. " The newest single is much darker than anything on a getto pop life, and its clear that the duo will be heading out into some uncharted musical territory. You gotta hand it to Dangermouse though, the cat is always doing something fresh, And we all know, new is always good. even if it's bad, it's new, which makes it good, (My logic is flawless.)

No need to worry though, If history is any indication, im sure its going to kick some major ass.
