Audiences turned from one CGI-dominated spectacle to another this weekend as the famed quartet of turtles that power "TMNT" overtook the Spartan soldiers of "300," earning an impressive $25.4 million, good enough for first place at the box office.  

 

Will somone please tell me why Teenage mutant ninja turtles beat the movie 300? I mean HONESTLY. i went and saw 300 the other day, and there is one thing that struck me. The visuals.

some of the things they do with a camera are simply amazing. The heroics, the gore, the action, the lust, the greed, the corruption, the Pain. All beautifully transfered from a beautiful graphic novel to an amazing Movie….

I can only imagine the sheer amount of man hours that it took to get the makeup and costume right… And this took the top spot…?are you fucking kidding me?
