Comedy fans are still shaking their heads in awe at hit comedian Dave Chappelle's record-setting performance last weekend at Los Angeles comedy club Laugh Factory.

Chappelle turned up unannounced Sunday night and took the stage around 10:30 p.m. local time. He remained onstage until about 4:45 a.m., delivering his edgy, caustic opinion on topics as varied as U.S. President George Bush and fellow comedian Michael Richards' racially based heckling of several audiences members at the Laugh Factory last November. 

First of all, I would like to say that Dave Chappelle is a funny man. Sure he went a little haywire and flew to Africa, but i'll be damned if Hollywood aint' Rough as hell these days. How do you stay funny in such a whirlwind industry?

You stay original.

Dave felt that he wasn't being original, and felt there was nowhere else to go with his show… so he stopped.  simple as that. But now, unlike Lauren Hill, He's sane again and back in Hollywood doing Stand Up Comedy

I really hope somone filmed this because I love Dave Chappelle's Stand Up.

come to think of it, i'm a little thirsty right now… i sure could use some Purple Drink…
