Oscar de La Hoya Vs Floyd Mayweather

After Christmas, There are Sales………..Lots of em.

So many in fact, that my father decided to go out and buy a Television. The thing is, he didn't just buy your average Television. He bought a sixty freakin two inch HDTV. Skip ahead to last Saturday, and guess whats on TV.

Boxing…. in High Definition.

I'm not talking just any old boxing, i'm talking, (And i do quote)

Oscar de La Hoya Vs Floyd Mayweather, The fight thats going to save boxing!

Well shit, we gotta order that. 60 bucks is a small price to pay for such a monumental battle..

Ok round one…. 4 punches are thrown…. nothing is happening. I start picking people out of the audience, oh snap, george lopez…. Leonardo Dicaprio, Jim Carey… DING DING DING… rounds over

Round 2-11 The announcers wont shut up about De la hoya's Jab. Despite the fact that i dont watch boxing much, I'm CONVINCED that if he could only jab a little more, he would be able to win the fight…

Round 12, i start looking forward to Michael buffer announcing the call… i keep thinking that if i ever get married, I want Michael Buffer to be the Pastor. LLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GEEENTLEMEN BOYS AND GIRLS…. WE ARE GATHERED…. HERE TODAY TO WED THESE TWO PEOPLE IN HOLY MATRRRRRRIMONY!!!!  ( I would ask him to roll the R, you know, like when he says, Je-seus EL Saviorrrrrrrrrrr CHRIST)

Anyway, i don't want to drag on forever, not really saying anything and never throwing a punch and being a little bit of a bitch by wearing a sombrero to mock the crowd, and having 50 cent in my entourage…. err wait, thats not me.

my bad.

point is, its was a super lame fight, nobody cares who won because there was no drama, and it may have killed boxing….

Hey man, Mayweather was just a lil too quick for ya boy, De La Hoya. He’s a technical boxer who technically won the fight, by decision, holla!

    G.S.M.

    oh shit yeah he won,

there was no doubt in my mind that he was going to win when the fight ended. He just picked De la Hoya Apart. I still think that he was a bitch who avoided confrontation… Tell me how good is it for A sport of Dramatics to have a Prancing Fairy who Talks like he’s Jesus AS THE WORLD CHAMPION. Nobody cares nobody likes him….

just like my boy Steve said…
    it’s lonely at the top…

    holla

Yea what freaken disappointment, Mayweather talked so much about kicking de la hoya ass, but he didn’t do much, he ended up running the whole night it was like a hit and run plan. In the end no one even cared that he won, and just like the sports editor of The LA Times Bill Dwyre said:
“He now resides at the top of the world of boxing. Alone.”

no one cares and boxing was not saved.

JAJAJAJAJA, I found your deep thought about Michael Buffer being your pastor at your wedding more fascinating than the fight itself. Its a shame
